Benissa Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta. From April 26th to May 5th, 2024.

This unique celebration draws hundreds of people from around the world. One of the highlights is the descent and ascent of the patron saint’s image, an exciting prelude to the procession that gathers crowds and the coronation ceremony of the Festival Queen.

During this period, Benissa comes to life with a wide variety of events. From impressive bullfights to live musical performances, fireworks, and spectacular firework displays, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss special events like those dedicated to the “ribereros” or the “dels Fadrins.”

The 2024 Festival Committee, in collaboration with the Benissa City Council, has prepared a program packed with activities for residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the festive tradition of the region.

Here’s a summary of the schedule:

**Friday, April 26th: Coronation Day**

8:00 p.m: Parade of festival-goers accompanied by various musical groups.

9:45 p.m: Gathering of authorities and festival representatives in the Portal Square.

10:30 p.m: Coronation ceremony of the Festival Queen and live music. Location: Dolores Piera Promenade. Party with the Flama orchestra.

**Saturday, April 27th: Day of the Offering**

8:30 a.m: Unveiling and Sabatina in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta.

11:00 a.m: Maxi-park with children’s and youth sections.

1:00 p.m: “Entrà” of the myrtle and cultural activities.

6:00 p.m: Gathering in the Convent Square for the floral offering, followed by a parade to the Basilica.

7:00 p.m: Flower offering to the Puríssima Xiqueta and medal ceremony.

10:00 p.m: Performance by Grupo La Trampa.

12:00 a.m: Immersive fire show by Pirotecnia Vulcano.

12:15 a.m: Performance by Locos de Atar and party with the La Fiesta orchestra.

**Sunday, April 28th: Day of the Puríssima**

8:00 a.m: Wake-up call and morning activities.

11:30 a.m: Solemn mass in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta, followed by a visit to the Elderly Residence.

2:00 p.m: Digital “Macromascletà” and religious events.

7:00 p.m: Solemn Procession and “Video Mapping with Fireworks” show.

12:30 a.m: Tribute to Luis Miguel and disco.

**Monday, April 29th: Riberer Day**

8:00 a.m: Wake-up call and morning activities.

11:30 a.m: Solemn mass in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta.

1:00 p.m: Flower offering and tribute to the “riberers.”

2:00 p.m: Mascletà and festive events.

6:30 p.m: Humorous parade and hot chocolate.

12:00 a.m: Salve singing and fireworks show.

**Tuesday, April 30th: Dels Fadrins Day**

10:30 a.m: Children’s wake-up call and morning activities.

11:00 a.m: Maxi-park and carts.

1:00 p.m: Popular meal and humorous parade.

5:00 p.m: Shadow Orchestra and prize-giving.

11:00 p.m: Rock night.

**Wednesday, May 1st: Bous**

10:30 a.m: Children’s wake-up call and carts.

12:00 p.m: Children’s show and musical activities.

4:00 p.m: Madre Selva Orchestra and music at the Social Center.

6:30 p.m: Bull entry and release.

7:00 p.m: Bull release.

**Thursday, May 2nd: Bous**

4:00 p.m: Afternoon of music and dance at the Elderly Residence.

6:30 p.m: Bull entry and release.

**Friday, May 3rd: Bous**

6:30 p.m: Grand entry of horses and tame bulls.

7:00 p.m: Bull release.

11:00 p.m: Spectacular disco.

**Saturday, May 4th: Day of Les Anyades**

8:00 a.m: Release of Novillos and youth activities.

11:00 a.m: Inflatable bull entry and carts.

12:00 p.m: Les Anyades gathering and giant paella.

5:00 p.m: Dance and party with King África and Monaco Party.

6:00 p.m: Music and dance at the Social Center.

7:00 p.m: Bull release.

11:00 p.m: Remember with José Conca and Puzzle Twins.

**Sunday, May 5th: Vuità Day**

8:00 a.m: Wake-up call and morning activities.

11:30 a.m: Solemn mass and parade.

2:00 p.m: Mascletà and religious events.

6:30 p.m: Commemorative procession and grand finale with The Talent performance.
