From 18 September to 22 December 2023 a second period of enjoyment is open to apply for the tourist voucher of this programme promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana. The Bono Viaje aims to boost the local tourism sector and encourage Valencians to discover their own community.
Sometimes we forget that it is not necessary to go far to live great experiences and enjoy unforgettable adventures. Visiting other parts of the country or the world is always exciting, but we must remember that travelling without leaving our Autonomous Community is also travelling. That is the mentality with which the Generalitat Valenciana has devised this particular programme, the Bonoviatge 2023. As they mention on their website, they seek to “encourage internal demand for tourist services provided in the Valencia Region, in periods of seasonality, by people residing in the Valencia Region”.
The programme was launched at the beginning of the year and Valencians were able to enjoy it, obtaining up to 60% discount on tourist services during practically the first half of the year. Now, after the summer, what has been called the second period of enjoyment of the Travel Voucher begins, which runs from 18 September to 22 December. The voucher for this new period can be applied for from 1 September. To do so, simply follow three simple steps: request an appointment on the website, register using a digital certificate or electronic ID and, finally, redeem the voucher when booking with the travel agency or accommodation of your choice. Please note that the requirements to apply are to be registered in the Valencian Community and to be of legal age. Also, be careful not to miss the deadline to participate in the Bono Viatge programme. The deadline is 30 November at 10:00 am.
